- Knowledge of food safety, occupational health, and environmental protection.

- Internal training or external training.
- Certification:
- Production managers, internal inspection staff: Certification in food safety knowledge required.
- Laborers: Training in VietGAP crop production or knowledge in VietGAP production and crop management at their specific work stage.
2. Infrastructure:
- Must ensure:
- Cleanliness, safety, and compliance with production, processing, and product preservation requirements.
- Should not cause environmental pollution.
- Includes:
- Production area:
- Must be segregated or isolated from non-VietGAP production areas.
- Must be covered to protect against rain, wind, direct sunlight.
- Must have a good drainage system.
- Processing and storage area (if applicable):
- Must be designed, constructed, and maintained to prevent product contamination.
